Solar Torch

Solar powered LED torch. The circuitry is a simple switch mode DC-DC convertor which rises the input voltage of 1.2v to around 7 volts. This voltage is applied to two superbright leds connected in series. Project Details can be found in Yavuz Erol's nice article here. The circuit originally draws around 200ma current. I've made some modifications and it now needs only 50mA while nearly the same amount of light is generated by the LEDs.
