you can glue the scoop on to the surface or use magnets inserted into the slots for magnetic attachment.

The tunnels under the hood scoops work in a way to create a suction and downward force by using the expansion of the space in which the air flows. So the scoops stay on even while going really fast. Tested upto 140km/h.
