We have two sizes in our models.
Small size models are around 210mms long to be printable in one piece by most standard 3d printers.
Large size models are mostly around 998 mms long to be easily built into sub-1 meter class R/C boats.
Therefore for instance both the Typhoon and Alfa Class models are almost 1 meter when printed in %100 size. (if you add the extra torpedo section to the Typhoon to upgrade it to a Red October, than it is actually 1.2m long)
So the standard Typhoon is 175meters long and our model being 1 meter long makes it to a non standard 1/175 scale. To convert this scale to a standard model boat scale like 1/72 you can scale up all parts x2.43 (175/72) before printing by using your slicer software. If you want to print it in for instance in 1/160 scale, then you need to scale up all parts x1.09 (175/160).
You can do the same scaling to Alfa and all other models. If you scale them to the same standard scale before printing, then you will end up having 3d printed subs in the same scale and therefore in correct proportion to each other.
